There are some who work and work and work to enter into My kingdom. They think that if they do enough and are good enough they will enter My kingdom. But this righteousness is only obtained through faith in Me to all who believe. The righteous are justified freely by My grace.
I poured out a spirit of grace and prayer when I was pierced for your transgressions. When you believe in Me by faith, it is by this grace you have been saved. It does not come from anything you do. It is a gift from God.
It is not achieved through works, so no one can boast. I saved you because of My mercy. When you are justified by My grace then you become heirs and will have eternal life in My kingdom.
For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith-and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God-not by works, so that no one can boast.
