Some of you worship idols that are made of gold, silver, bronze, or wood. Some of you worship money or other gods. You deceive your heart. You convince yourself it is not an idol. These idols are the work of human hands. They have mouths that don’t speak, ears that don’t hear, and noses that don’t smell.
Their hands don’t feel and their feet don’t walk. These things are worthless. Turn to Me. I am the Lord your God. You shall have no Gods before Me. You can not love two Gods. You will love one and hate the other.
All who serve other gods worship demons. Do not participate in this. You can’t drink of My cup and a cup of demons. You can’t eat at My table and a table of demons. Taste and see that I AM good.
No, but the sacrifices of pagans are offered to demons, not to God, and I do not want you to be participants with demons. You cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons too; you cannot have a part in both the Lord’s table and the table of demons.
