You are wise in your own opinion. You think your ways are best. When you think this way there is more hope for a fool than for you. So be wise and listen to advice. Be humble. Fear Me and depart from evil. This is not fear as you might think. It is having great respect for Me. I know what is best for you.
Doing this will give you great success and preserve your life. It will be health to your flesh and will strengthen your bones. Observe all My statutes. They are for your good.
Fearing Me is the beginning of knowledge. It brings strong confidence. It will be a fountain of life to you. Show Me respect, walk in My ways, and serve Me. This will show Me you love Me with all your heart and soul.
Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord and shun evil. This will bring health to your body and nourishment to your bones.
