In this world you will have trouble and suffering. You do now. Sometimes you are burdened beyond measure. All your strength is exhausted. You may even suffer so much that you are discouraged about life. But take heart, I have overcame the world. In Me, is your consolation. You will partake in the consolation through salvation in Me just as you are partaking in suffering now.
Trust that I will deliver you. I was delivered from death and I will deliver you with that same power. The sufferings of the present time will seem like nothing compared to the glory that will be revealed to you.
True faith is not believing in things that you can see but in the unseen. Have confidence that this is what you hope for. It is the hope of salvation. Eagerly wait for it with perseverance.
I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us.
— Romans 8:18
“I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.
— John 16:33
