Just as any royal family, your position requires much of you. You must carry yourself in a way that is gracious and respectful and that glorifies Me.
If you see a member of the royal family acting up, such as a prince who goes to folly, all are watching. You hear about it on television and read it in the papers. It is never unnoticed. Rebuke comes from the family because of it and embarrassment as well.
Such is the case when it comes to you because you are My child and I am the King of Kings. You will inherit the earth and all that is within and that does not go without responsibility. Carry yourself as a child of the King because…you are!
Now if we are children, then we are heirs-heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory.
— Romans 8:17
And if you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s descendants, heirs according to promise.
— Galatians 3:29
