You cannot be proud and it not come back to bite you. I will not allow it of My children. Being prideful is a sin. It hurts yourself and it hurts others.
Think of those in the spotlight who have thought of themselves to be untouchable. When one stumbles, all are secretly happy because the person thought himself to be above reproach. Do not put yourself in such a position.
Many Christians have built themselves up only to take a great fall. You are able to do wonders but that is because of Me and who I am. Know this and be humble. The wicked are proud but they shall fall. I will see to it. Be meek and mild and never haughty. Then I will exalt you but you shall be humble when I do.
May I never boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ through which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.
