While it is a good thing to be independent sometimes, you should never be independent of Me. I am your strength and you can do nothing without Me. Depend on Me and act interdependently so that you are able to walk in My ways with My help.
As children grow up, they become interdependent. They still require correction and wisdom from their parents, but they can do as they are told and can make wise decisions based on what they have learned and are still learning.
This is what I ask of you, to be dependent on Me but able to use the wisdom and instructions I have given to you. Be dependent upon your brethren as well for together it is that we press for the same goal.
“Therefore, if you are offering your gift at the altar and there remember that your brother or sister has something against you.”
— Matthew 5:24
For I am the Lord your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you.
— Isaiah 41:13
