When I see you working so hard for worldly wealth, it makes me sad. The things you think are so valuable are not worth a thing in heaven. You worry so about getting this or that when it is useless to do so. Your time and energy is futile when you do these things.
Spend your time storing up treasures that you can take to heaven, such as spiritual things. Treasure people so that you may show them to way to Glory as well. The things on earth will fade away. They get old, they get stolen or lost and they get left behind when you die. But heavenly riches are eternal. They will last forever. Spend your time and efforts doing what matters, forever.
Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal.
