When times are hard and it feels as if everything has crumbled before your eyes, know that I am with you. Do not be dismayed. Don’t think it is all done in vain. I will use your suffering to strengthen you.
An athlete goes through tremendous lengths in order to perform to the best of his ability. He suffers through endless workouts and does not partake of some foods he would love to eat. He knows that through his hardship, he will have the results he needs to win.
Likewise, when you go through suffering, you are being prepared for greatness. Never is it in vain so rejoice as you are suffering, for it is all for good.
I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us.
— Romans 8:18
And the God of all grace, who called you to His eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will Himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast.
— 1 Peter 5:10
