When your life is a light before men, people will want what you have. If it isn’t, they will want anything but what you have. Be sure that you acknowledge Me in everything you do so you are a good example and not a bad one, lest you cause one to stumble.
Think about someone who is trying to sell you on a new diet plan. If they are obese and has been on the plan for a year and has not dropped a pound, do you want what they have to offer? Doubtfully so.
As a Christian, it is your responsibility to represent Me in a way that makes others want what you have. That will not be a difficult task when you spend time with Me and keep in My Word. Then, your walk will naturally glorify me. Never forget you are My representative here on earth and your actions should always reflect as such. When you do this, your rewards will be great and you will lead new followers to the Kingdom because they will want what you have.
And Mary said: “My soul glorifies the Lord and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior…”
— Luke 1:46-47
In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.
— Matthew 5:16
