You walk around bragging and boasting. You are arrogantly proud of yourself. You think more highly of yourself than you ought to. Love is not proud. If you are a servant of Me, others should see My love in you. It is patient and kind. It doesn’t envy or boast. So let someone else praise you.
Don’t do it by your own mouth. Pride produces sin. I detest a proud heart. It will not go unpunished. So be completely humble and gentle. Show others love. Don’t do anything out of selfish ambition. Be humble and value others above yourself.
I am good and upright. I instruct sinners in My ways. I am faithful to guide the humble in what is right and teach them My ways. So humble yourselves before Me and I will lift you up.
Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up.
