You wander around sometimes like you are lost. You go to and fro acting like you are unsure of which direction to take. You don’t have to go through life without a guide. I am the good Shepherd to all. No one expects sheep to be responsible for themselves ever.
Owners will hire shepherds to be responsible for the safety and well being of the flock. Few shepherds would be willing to risk their life to save a sheep. But I am the good Shepherd who lays down His life for My sheep.
I love you so much. There is no greater love than this to lay down My life for My friends. If any sheep are lost, all they will have to do is come to their shepherd and I will save them. Then the angels will rejoice in heaven over even one.

Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.

and goes home. Then he calls his friends and neighbors together and says, “Rejoice with me; I have found my lost sheep.” I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent.
