Don’t think that the commandments I have given unto you are to keep you pressed down. They are for your good so you can succeed.
Just as rules are put into place in a family so that the children can grow up to be productive and wise adults, such is the reason you have rules. Rules are all around. There are laws within the government.
There are structured rules at work and at school. Rules are constructive and the wise know that they are and follow them religiously. Be wise and know that I love you and therefore, have rules that you must keep for your own good.
Love the Lord your God and keep his requirements, his decrees, his law and his commands always.
— Deuteronomy 11:1

— Revelations 14:12
