I know it’s easy to think it’s easy being God. That is because you are human. You cannot be expected to know. But let Me assure you that I have felt every emotion known to man. I experienced these emotions on earth and in my death as well.
Do you remember reading in the book of John, the story of Lazarus? I felt great sorrow and wept when Lazarus died. It wasn’t because he was dead, for I know he would be resurrected. I wept because I had compassion on Mary, Martha and the others who were in deep mourning.
I weep with you when you mourn too. Joy, love, anger…I have experienced them all. Always know that when you are having emotions, I have had them as well. There is no negative emotion that is powerful enough to force you to sin. Be angry and sin not. I have done so and you are able to as well, through Me.
Be happy. Be joyous. Be sad when the time is appropriate. But never, ever feel alone in your emotions. I am with you, even until the end of time.
Jesus wept.
— John 11:35
As a father has compassion on his children, so the Lord has compassion on those who fear him.
